Levi Gunthrope, better known as Ju$t Lee, was born in Jersey City, NJ but grew up on the Caribbean island of Antigua and Barbuda. His love for music blossomed in Antigua and continued to grow when he returned to New Jersey in his teens. After graduating high school he joined the United States Army and was stationed in Hawaii then deployed to Afghanistan the following year.
Three days before leaving for his deployment “Operation Enduring Freedom” he released his 1st mix-tape project, “Under The Red Light” (2011). While serving his tour he developed his next project, “Hard Work Pays Off” (2012), and released it a month after returning to Hawaii. He released two music videos “Respect Me” and “Rollin” that same year. After his military service, he created the Married to the Money enterprise in 2013 which concentrates on his record label, apparel and publishing companies.
From 2013 to 2019, he studied Business Marketing and Administration at Heald College, University Of Phoenix and Honolulu Community College’s MELE program. As he launched his clothing apparel brand, he also starred in, wrote, directed and produced ten music videos. Even performing at the SXSW music festival, Ju$t Lee has headlined for notable hip hop and reggae artists such as Post Malone, The Migos, Curren$y and Gyptian.
As he wraps up his Music Entertainment and Business Marketing degree from the prestigious MELE program, he expands his clothing brand, music, and has ventured into film.
